I went out sunday evening with my brother, we put in at riverside park about 7:30 got our baits in the water by 8. About nine he caught a 7lb channel, around 10:30 something took his gill into a snag but he could still feel it so he decided to wait till we left to try and get it out. At 11:30 I got a run on my big shad, the fish took the bait from near the bank and came out to us then headed downstream thats when I stuck him, and wow it felt like I had hooked a 55 gal. drum. After 10 minutes I landed a nice 41 pounder. We reeled every thing else in then went after the one in the snag. It turned out to be an 8lb flathead. Fun night on the river. I'll put up a picture later today.

Alright Otto, way to end the weekend brother. I'll just bet he was close to the bank.
I had a good fish on Sat night and he broke my wire leader snap! no more of those for me. lol

Allright I'm not as dumb as I thought I was. That was my first attempt to attatch photos besides my avatar. I always thought it would be harder, LOL. I caught that fish on a 12 inch shad about 5 feet off the bank in 4 ft of water that dropped off into 8 feet. We anchored up between to small log jambs so we could reach both from one spot.

All fish caught by s-man are released unharmed except for slightly dim vision from flash bulbs. LOL

Thanks Jim, heck yea they are just easier for me to locate on the river. I really wish I coulda tangled with one of those brutes you catch up there. Having any luck the last two days? You gotta try an get down here. The water temp last night was 62.1 lots of fish activity last night besides the three we caught. We had two more fish on that ended up spittin the bait out near the boat.
