38# blue catfish

    Went fishing with my son Tue, and was there about 6 hrs before this baby hit a 4" bluegill around 7' under a float in wide open water that has a steep dropoff bank right behind me in the pic.hung him on 2 sets of scales and they read almost the same; called him 38#, might have been a little under could'nt tell..Had a blast for 5-10 mins it took him to tire out..The custom Gusa mega-mag, performed as expected, static guide tests layed the line smoothly thru the guides around the blank with the 38# pulling as hard as he could.
    Best fish so far on this blank for myself..:cool2:
