When is it going into effect, though?

    I haven't heard a date.

I heard form our local DNR officer that it goes into effect immediatly after being signed by the governor but they will not enforce until the 2007-2008 rules and regs books are put out which should be no later than august.

The governor has already signed it. In addition, it will be reviewed after 3 years to see if it needs to be changed. Good rule. One per boat would suit me better

I would love to see this law made statewide after a few years of research on the Santee Cooper lakes.
