I wish I could have taken some pics of this brute, but due to camera restrictions where I work pics are a no no! She was caught in our trash rack system, it cleans the debris out of our cooling water intake and she was caught by the "CLAW"! She was a little beat up but no worse for the wear, the trash rack operator was gonna let her die in the dumpster so I told him that I was gonna throw her back in the river... so I did and now she is free to swim and spawn in the Mighty MO!

It was great that you were there to prevent such a loss. What is that guy's problem? Is there not a company policy?

If I was working there I would seriously consider approaching management to publish a policy to prevent such a waste of a public resource.

I work at a nuke plant so everyone is supersensitive of cameras and what pictures are taken there, understandably especially after 9/11. I do belive that there is a policy, but it is not strictly enforced, that and there are a lot of candy asses that wouldn't even look at a catfish. We also get some monster paddlefish/spoonies in there, I personally have seen one that was damn near 7ft tip to tail. We also get sturgeon and alot of Asian Carp/Bigheads.

You the man Aaron. Of course you told me this story the day it happened but nevertheless you are the man! I'm going to try and get some fishing here done in Kuwait on the 30th. One of our translators is buying me some local bait (kuttlefish?) at the market. I'll post pictures of anything I catch.

Thanks for releasing that mighty fish. What a waste that would have been if they would have just let it die like that. Good job.
