34# flathead catfish Ohio River

    Took my wife's son out on the big O last saturday, 1st year of catfishing and 1st time for him on the Ohio River. Caught 2 channels and two small flattie's 10 and 8 lbs then about 3 in the morning his clicker started going slow and steady. I said to him this might be the one we're looking for; he set the hook and landed a 34# flattie. He was so excited to land that fish and it was a joy for me to see him have success.

    I had to laugh at that one :smile2::smile2::eek:oooh:. Have never heard tht one before. I haven't killed a cat in years but would not hesitate to if I or someone I knew wanted to eat it. Here are a couple pics of cats that there tails aren't curled and I assure you they were very much alive when last I saw them
