Wow nice catch!!! I would like to know the measurement of his shell! If it's okay. One day I'd like to catch one that big. Thanks for the pic.

That's a nice turtle. I caught a little smaller one on rod and reel. My brother-inlaw wanted it soooo bad. He was trying to grab it with pliers and it was trying to grab him, and I was trying to get out of the way. We almost swamped the boat. It was hilarious, I hope no one saw us.

I have a a bunch of them in our catfish ponds. I need to get rid of them. I think I am going to sit on the side of the bank with a .22 rifle. But I hate to wast them. Is there a good way to catch then? I hurd that a treable hook and meat works well. I know there is a bath tub size soft shell in there.
