I just moved to within walking distance the the montgomery dam on the Ohio. Everybody watch out
thats awsome ryan, i really want to try that dam out i took drive up there last year just to scop it out looks nice lots of currant. maybe i'll come up there and meet up with you(after you find the good holes lol) a guy striper fishing last spring got a 40 lber there on a swimbait i forgot how long but it was big. looked skinny for how long he was, and the best part it was released. tight lines and good luck justin
any time you want to come up let me know. There are some really big fish there. Plus we could take the boat out where I know where the monsters are.
i'll hold you it too bro, thanks. i know there's biguns up there been wanting to fish it just never did last year don't know that part of the ohio.
i was able to find the pic of that flat, like i said i know there's bigguns up your way. tight lines justin
i've caught some nice ones there but there are some nice spots that I take my boat to on the upper side of the dam.
how deep is the channel up your way, around here it's between 18-22. with some holes that are 25-30, the one hole is close enough to reach from the bank thats were i do alot fishing. plus you can drive right down to the water. i know a hole over by the mkee rocks bridge thats 50ft deep, never tryed it for flats you need a boat. i was fishing in my kayak one day and read it on the fish finder, never made it back to try it out.
The channel is around 30' up this way. But one of my favorite spots is a 50' dropoff caught some huge fish from there. Whats nice is you can hit it from shore with enough weight on your line
good luck you all in pa
i'm going to hate to see the river when all this snow melts
