Well i just got everything together today, new line and got the reels ready. When i started catfishing all i had was the Sierra 4000 reel on a Cabela Predator Rod. Now i have a abu garcia 6000 on a 8ft Mudvillecat rod, a Penn Pier 209 on a 8ft Mudvillecat Rod(this reel is like 40 years old), a Penn spinning reel on a 11ft Mudvillecat with 50 # test line, a Penn baitrunner on a Catmax rod which i bought from a buddy. Its amazing how much gear i have gotten in the last year and im ready for a new year for fishing

    Pendog,

I have two Mudvillecat rods also. I like them, they seem to be pretty nice (& cheap!) rods.

Say, that grey striped thing in the pic of your spinning oufits, is that bait?

I got mine at Gander Mountain. I think they only cost me $19.99.

    They're made by South Bend.
