I caught my second biggest blue today on Lake Wylie. A nice 44 pounder hit a piece of white perch about an hour before dark. Water was moving all day; I assume because of the heavy rains they are calling for tomorrow. The REALLY COOL thing is that I caught a 33 pound blue cat a few minutes before that 44 pounder that Bowlerman caught in July. I know this because there was a tag in the fish and I was able to look up the information on. I was able to tell what it weighed, and where it was caught and released. I was shocked at how far the fish traveled in the four months since it was caught, and amazed at the weight change. I will be send that information out to all the folks that are on the Carolina Catfish Club mailing list, so be sure to PM me if you are not on the mailing list.
