THIS IS AN OLDER MOTOR AROUND 1969 I THINK. I was wondering what oil to gas ratio should i use? 50:1 or 36:1? I don't know i just bough it and cleaned the carbs, changed the lower unit oil, and cleaned the prop. I want to start it up and see if it pumps water but I don't know what ratio to use, and help would be apperciated greatly.

Billy from the numbers you sent me it is a 1951 and you will need to run it on a 24:1 mix with a TCW-3 oil. Use J6 champion plugs and gap them at 30

If no one has converted it to a fuel pump mounted on the motor then its going to have to have a pressurized tank.
