Is there a .22 rifle in short, long, long rifle, and mag?
I've never seen one chambered to include the mag. I'm all ears:wink:
i havnt either
There cant be ,unless it is a revolver with switchable cylinders,The diameter of the s,l &lr is .222 The diameter of the Mag is .224
thanks Richard, i knew i would learn something today if i tried.
You nailed it! The revolvers that are do not typically shoot the others well either. There is a company that makes cartridge adapters that allow you to shoot a 22 mag in a 222, 223 and 22-250 among other 224 diameter bore rifles. They also sell a 22 LR in a 22 WMR. They are a BLAST and not to expensive. With this you could do a 22 LR in a 22 mag rifle but I do not know about the accuracy.
Thats wild! Didnt know that and also didnt know the s,l,lr, and mag were a different size. You can teach an old dog new tricks.:wink:
Check out that companies web site and look for there inserts. You can shoot 45 ACP, 444 Marlin, 30/30, 45 Colt and other rounds in some single shot shotguns.
I was just wondering!
