I heard some good things about it, but I've never tried it?

I bought some today and wanted to find out what everyone likes or dislikes about it?

There are at least 2 varieties of Spiderline Super Mono. I’ve used the one called EZ (Purple Box) with pretty good results. It’s a good tough line, yet more supple than most monos.

I’ve used the EZ as main line and even as a leader on my river poles in some situations. It’s been getting hard to find lately, and I ordered a couple of spools of the 20lb from a guy on ebay just a couple of days ago

Most of the stores carry the Super Mono XXX (Green Box) now. It’s not the same stuff, it’s a much stiffer line, and I have not tried it.

I have used the 30# and 40# spiderline and it seemed to be good line. I did have to re-tie alot, though. Just watch out for wear on the line. It will do fine and good luck!!

I use power-pro because of the smaller dia. It seems to work better in strong current.

    Thanks for the replies.
I've been using it a few weeks and so far I like it?
I don't know how it will do when I catch something with it, but I like it so far?

I haven't caught a thing on my bigger poles lately, they've been hitting my smaller ones, which is OK because all the fish have been small ones.:sad2:

I use 20lb spiderwire EZ and I love it. I will only use this kind of line. I hope you get some good use out of yours.

I am a huge fan of the 4# on my ultralight rigs. I can never seem to find it in anything higher then 8# though.
