Just talked to the folks at R.P.
The cabins have been removed. The previous owner took them away as part of the deal. He may put some more back on there for next year but definitely not this year.

The folks who run the convenience store underneath the restaurant have a couple of what they call "studio apartments" above the shower block. From the description they sound like efficiencies. They have bathroom and shower , fridge and microwave. One has a full size bed and a sofa-bed. The other a queen size bed and a roll-away. They are $59 a night.

It's $7.00 night to pitch a tent and $10 a night for tent with shower pass.
Shame about the cabins; they were alright...W

I just called Rocky Point andthe notified me that Perry Marine now does the booking for campsites.. The number is 1-812-548-0611.. The campsites with water and power hookup are $24 a night.. So a total of $48 for friday and sat. night.. I just reserved site 16 on the river!!!!! Also there will be a Renagade Bass Tuornoment that weekend just so you all know!! Sucks that they will be there again but at least we are trgeting different fish...

Im pretty sure it the same campsite I had last year

HaHaHa too funny Shane. Can't wait to see everyone down there. I'm going into work on Monday and putting in for that weekend off. This year I am determined to catch sumthing. Even if its just a bait fish. lol. Last year I had no luck at all :(

Me and Michele are in! I just tried to call Perry Marine to get the lowdown on the cabin situation, they were closed. I left a message, if they dont call me back, I will try again Monday.

Rather than risk not getting anything, I went ahead and got one of the apartments up by the store/restaurant for the nights of the 8th and 9th. We will be down around noon on Friday the 8th, ready to rock the point again.

I have never been a fan of useing wire leaders.... But I would love to catch a nice flathead on this trip.. But a new PB would work for any channel, blue or flatty
