for the 1st time ever and while the #'s are not good the size is nice. The crappie were 2-3, 2-2 and 1-7 and the brim were big too, just look small beside the crappie. The hot color was blue. We caught a bunch of 6-8" crappie too all in the same spot and the 3 big one all from another spot, all the crappie from two spots. The lake had been fertilizered 3 weeks ago and was very clear. The 3 crappie were females and the brim males. Surface temp was in the low 70's. Would love to fish this lake in the winter, saw a lot of fish on the DF but could not get them to bite. Will be putting my brim box in the boat as all I had was 1 beetle spin which was what I caught the 3 brim and the 2-2 crapie on.

That is funny how much larger the crappie look next to the bream. Fry 'em up good.

Nice mess, congrats. Especially those crappies, up here, any crappie over 1.5lbs is close to a rariety.

Now those are some slabs there. Much bigger than the ones I've been catching.
