I'm thinking of buying two new Penn 309s from a guy for $100. Is this a good deal...should I buy?

Mine are all maroon, bought them on ebay for about 25 each. They show some wear but in great shape. The new black 309 is about 69 each, so your saving about 40. sounds good

I second that. If they both are new, do it.

Catfish connection shows them in their online catalog for 57.95 but guess postage would make it more. Two new ones in the box as they came from the factory would still be a good deal for $100.

I forgot to mention that these were Penn 309 trolling reels....not the penn 309m. As far as I can tell the only difference is that these have a stainless spool rather than the black spool on the 309m....

Make the Deal before the seller changes his mind. Your deal keeps getting better. Time is waisting.
