i was just watching the weather, they're calling for 2 inches of rain in atlanta today.just wondering if yall think it will hurt the tournament.i know where i fish on the hooch if atlanta gets 2 inches in 1 day,3 days later its almost not fishable.and its only about half way between atl. & col. do yall think it will be fishable by tourny time?

hi Preston, I think the river will be fine by the seventh. If we dont get any more rain next week.

I see no issues. The river remains fishable all the way up to about 16 feet. Even if it shoots up for a day or two, it only takes about 18 hours for them to stabilize it.

Of course that is assuming we don't get 10 inches like the previous flood

yeah,i don't mind fishing in the rain, preffer it actually.its just when the hooch gets up in roopville where i fish it gets dangerous.i've seen trees with root balls the size of a truck floatin' down the river.but the whole river up there is pretty much logs.they start breaking lose and its on.you beter go.

River is currently at 13 feet, still plenty fishable for anyone coming down this weekend
