Today was just gorgeous so this evenin I went down to the river to do some cattin.:cool2:
Got there arund 5:30 and fished the first spot for around 45 minutes with only a few bites. Moved to another spot and fished for a half an hour. Nothin there.
Moved to a thrid spot and within 5 minutes the rod slammed down and then went limp. I grabbed the rod and didnt feel anything on it so I lifted it up a little and then all he!! broke loose.:smile2: He was mad.
After a short fight I landed my first Cat of the year and my first flathead of the year.:cool2::smile2: He went almost 13 lbs.
    Caught on a goldfish head.
5 mintes later I caught a small channel. Nothing else exciting, left at 9.
The water is still cold but things are comin around. YEEEEHAAAWW!!!:smile2:

I just put new batteries in the camera and the date wasnt set.
I know the water was cold. I would guess it in the mid 40s. Maybe even colder. The lakes around here are just above 40.

Now THAT is a new one Kyle, new batteries:eek:oooh:, didn't set the date:roll_eyes:, I'll have to put that one in "My Book":smile2:

Just pullin your leg, I'm just glad you put them back, so I'll get a chance at'em too. If it's okay with you, what ever we catch, we'll record the statistics, and I'll put a tag in'em. That way you'll know they've been caught before.:smile2:

I got one today (YES, with a picture) with a witness, Jerald took the pic:smile2: Gonna post it on the Milford Lake thread.

Our water is a little over 40deg too.
