I was reading over the owners manual of my newly aquired motor and it mentiond that some models like mine have a place to run an AC power supply off of. Is there an easy way of looking to see if mine has this? Figured it might come in handy for charging the batteries and such on long trips. Thanks

Then it has the stator component and rectifier to produce a dc voltage to charge a battery.

Can you post a quote from your owners manual regarding this ac voltage?

All I'm sure of is that it'll charge your battery.

    "AC Lighting

Some models are equipped with an AC (Alternating Current) lighting system. This system is intended for operating lights on a boat.

Note The current generated is alternating current (AC) and can not be connected directly to a batter. For battery charging, use an OMC battery charging kit. See your dealer"

It then gives the diagram for the wiring.

I'll check on the 91 manuals but it's the first I've ever heard of this.
