I posted a week and a half ago about my 250 Pound night out on the Mississippi with numerous blues, however this is the fish I'm most proud of.

She weighed in at 17 Pounds and 10 ounces. She is submitted for the Missouri Master Angler Program and I'll be submitting her for the BOC Hall Of Fame (Assuming they will accept the photos I have which were taken via Cell Phone. Even if they dont, I'm proud of my 2nd personal best Channel Catfish. Sorry the photos arnt the greatest. Was by myself and did the best I could to hurry so as to release her unharmed.

Good stuff Buddy!:smile2: I'm itching to get back out there. Looks like I'm gonna head out tonight. I just got my new anchor ball Friday, and can't wait to try here out. I hear that Ol Swamper had a heck of a night last night with a new PB too. I wish he'd post up already!! I also hear that another buddy of mine caught a 70lb fish last Sunday night. He won't answer his phone, I'm trying to find out if he killed it or not, cause he don't own a scale.

All right John, that 17 lb channel is truly a trophy, congrats buddy... I appreciate the integrity of a good scale weighing and fish ID for the BOC trophy section... WTG

John, congratulations on a nice fish! Channels like that one are few and far between around here.

Nice fish Cuz! I caught my pb channel that very same night, 14.8 lbs. I was more proud of that fish than any 25 lb blue.
