One of the first Big Rocks I crewed a mate on another boat did the wrap of the leader around the forearm on a marlin brought to the side of the boat.
The marlin got a second wind and took off dragging the mate with him.
I imagine at about a depth of 200 feet the mate imploded.
Body never recovered.
