spent the most part of yesterday messin w/ the boat......and three trips to lowes........I got a piece of 2x3/8" steel cut to 55" and bolted it to the back of my boat for the rod holders along the back.......and the holders along the gunnel are just pvc secured w/ some clamps.......they will mostly be used for a place for rods and the net while im motoring around.......i was sick of having everything laying in the boat. I moved to battery up to the front too to get rid of some of the weight in the back of the boat.......and used some 3/4 foam board to even the floor up inbetween the two bench seats for comfort........

Massey, that's a nice looking rig. I like your idea for getting those rods vertical. Plus, that way you find find room for one of those jumbo Oconee Flatheads in the boat! Thanks for sharing.

Looks like you used what I call the KISS method Aaron, keep it simple stupid. LOL. I cant seem to keep the floor of my boat clear either. I am always changing something.

Looks like a job well done! Where could a man get that type of rubberized matting you put in the floor? Was looking for something like that to put in the floor of my boat over top of the carpet too help the feet while standing and fishing.

i hear ya creteus........i actually modified it so between the two bench seats will be cleared out while fishing........so two people can lounge facing the back of the boat pretty comfortably......one person gets the rods on the left, and the other gets the rods on the right....
