I bought a 12ftXH Bigwater Uglystik near the end of the season.I had a few spots where I had to get some real distance. The rod got it done ,but I,m only 5ft6 and got a short reach so it was really uncomfortable to cast.I sent it to Leland at Cherokee Rod Co.He moved the reel seat where I wanted it so it fits me,replaced the reel seat with an all aluminum one and did the butt and foregrip in parachute cord.Two-tone,black and gold.I love it! Couldn,t ask for nicer workmanship.Leland was truly a pleasure to work with, not just because he,s a sponsor, just a really nice guy.I owe you one Leland,if you ever get up Pittsburgh way,you got a standing invite to my best hole!Anybody got a rod don,t fit them, you can,t go wrong having him tailor it for ya.I didn,t know about the parachute cord, but I think I love the way it feels as much as the way it looks!

Thanks for all the kudo's guy's, This winter is THE time to overhaul your equipment, when Jan. 1 rolls around I get buried! But I work on dated orders so it's a progression. Most times when I have the hardware on hand they turnaround quickly. If we need to order parts not in our stock it may take longer.:tounge_out::wink: Just depends on the company.
