12/23 wateree

    me and skiff1 made it out this evening caught my new lake wateree pb 62 lbs caught a few other smaller fish heres a pic of the 62 it was released to fight another day

    wow man that is a heck or a fish. good job looks like daniel must be good luck hes puttin everyone on big fish.

    this changed my new years goal foor 2010 was a 60 plus from wateree now 70 is my 2010 goal :wink:

    maybe that fish will make it to 70 by the end of the year being it was released nice fish and good job

    WTG Jason:wink:,Great Fish.Them bad boys are sure growing fast on Wateree.Been alot of Trophys caught on Wateree this December.:cool2:

    Congrats Jason on that huge blue. I think if things keep going you will catch that 70lb next year, and I wouldn't be surprised if you see a couple of them caught next year. The cats in Wateree are growing so fast.

    awesome fish now i wish we would have tagged that 62# blue we turned loose at wateree creek during the catawba catfish tourney if you don't mind where did the pig hit. the reason i ask is i caught a fish in june on wylie carried it almost 20 miles down stream to the weigh in at allison creek dieter tagged it:big_smile: we released it and dieter caught the same fish 5 months later almost in the same spot i caught it :crazy: the fish traveled 20 miles back up stream to get caught in the same place now what are the odds of that , that the man who tagged the fish would catch it 5 months later :crazy:

    the fish hit in cedar creek and was turned loose in dc. by the way that is an amazing story. can you give me more info on tagging i would like to get involved.
