Changed the water pump and now getting water in the lower unit, I'm sure it's back togather right but is there a gasket or O ring I might be missing. Or maybe it just the prop seal has gone out at this time. Any ideas or advise would be great. Just replace #1 piston and would like to get back to fishing and not worrying about motor problems.

Take the lower unit off and take you one of thos filler tube fitting like you use to put oil in it with and drain the oil out and screw the fitting in the lower fill hole and take the unit and set it in a barell of water enough to surmerg the lower unit.
Put a little air to it and you will see where the bubbles are comming out of the unit and there is your leak.
Be sure to reinstall the other oil screw in the lower before you do this so all your air won't excape thru it. Simple little test and works well.
