    well i went out today , the water had dropped alot 5 to 7 foot since friday still caught a channel 7 pound on the light bite .

    Atleast your still out catting, I haven't gone catfishing since early October. I was actually able to get out on the creek at my Grandparent's house today for about an hour after working, so I was able to get something done, caught a bunch of creek chubs to freeze for future catfish ventures. Congrats on the 7lber by the way.

    yeah it was peaceful out there and quiet , i even got some sun took off my shirt set back and watched my rods waiting on the fish to bite i was out on the water over 6 hours , the water had dropped and obviously turned the bite off but i still enjoyed being out
