103LB GA Flathead Catfish

    Mr Tom Head caught this 103 lb Flathead Catfish jug fishing, This would have been a new state record if caught on rod and reel, Current record is 83lbs "

    dang, you guys down in Georgia have been hiding some big flatheads. thats a biggun' for sure!

    WOW, can you imagine seeing your jug bobbing along, reaching down and grabbing it, and then coming face to face with that brute? :eek:oooh::tounge_out::smile2::cool2:

    OMG, I probably would have been fishing with "stinkbait" the rest of the day!:embarassed:

    Awesome flathead. Looks to me the fish didnt make it. The tell tell sign is no curl in the tail when held that way. Most live flatheads held that way will curl their tail up.

    That is amazing.. Congrats to Mr. Tom for that unbelievable once in a lifetime oppurtunity. The record here is 85 lbs. in Tennessee.:cool2:
