    Mine's not so bad. I was born forty years ago this coming Friday and the top US song was.... Summer In The City by Lovin' Spoonful.

    UK was Yellow Submarine & Eleanore Rigby by a little known band called the Beatles.

    whats the deal ,why does the chart only go back to 1952 ?Guess us ol folks from the 40's don't count for nothing. Don't count us out guy's theres not to many of us war babies left anymore.

    If we had learned to keep our thumbs out from between those rocks, there wouldn't have been nearly so much howling.:big_smile: Even so, those sounds were much better than most "modern" music.

    Did anyone here see that old movie "Caveman" with Ringo Star (Starr?). That was music worth listening to.

    I agree James, they just don't make good music anymore, and no i never saw that movie. I was more than likely either fishing or grounded to the cave that day.
