How tall is the vertical pipe on your feeder Sam? Just curious how much it holds? My vertical pipe is about 6 foot tall and holds right at 50 lbs. How do you fill yours? I have to carry a step stool to fill mine. Yours looks much taller.

Hot dawg, i'm ready. Neighbor just called and we're going to the woods in a few minutes. That 10 pt. thats hard horned has a really nice spread. Bow season is awful close and i got the itch,,,,bad. Looks like alot of white oak acorns and what i've cut open look good. Keep tellin myself i won't shoot anything less than last years buck,,,,but i lie alot to myself.:confused2: Time will tell.

Thanks for sharing the pic. Doesn't that just get you all worked up and ready to hunt? It does me.

    Good luck this fall!

It's about 5 1/2 feet tall, 4 inch pipe holds about 5 pounds to the foot. I get square plastic bukets from a friend of mine to fill the feeder with, the square corners make it easier to pour the feed.

Square bucket... that's a great idea. And to think I have been trying to come up with a descent funnel design.
