Yesterday I planned to fish at Sardis lake spillway. The flow gates had been 2.5, 0, 0, 2.5 since Sept 9th, I open face book to double check. Dang, they opened them to 6.5, 0, 0, 6.5 at 7 am. Ok, I'll go tomorrow, give the fish 24 hours to adjust to the new level. Get up today and check the site, opened more 9, 0, 0, 9. Looks like it will be Tuesday before I get to go.
Went to visit the surgeon yesterday for a second opinion. They took xrays and then he came in.
The good news is the first surgeon did a good job. The bad news is the first surgeon did a good job. Nothing they can do to make it better. Still bothers me every day, but will have to live with it.
Now to VA on Tuesday for annual visit and to get hernia checked. Falling apart I guess.
My drive way is covered by trees. Theres no where to park that your not under one. Working from home. Alot of days i dont even drive anywhere. Would have never guessed how much difference it would make. My daily driver was turning black. Its only been 2 weeks since she had a bath. Got her all shined up yesterday. Temp was in the mid 70s. Nice!

That's a beautiful car but can it pull a boat? Rofl
No really that can burn some serious rubber but you wouldn't know I'm sure you keep it contained and follow the speed limit Always!!! Haha awesome car Steven
The LUND has received a detail job (cleaned, polished and waxed) and is now ready for the Lady to cut the Sunbrella material for the Bimini top and sides, including a window on each side. It took four gallons of toxic cleaner to clean the aluminum hull. The engine got spark plugs and the outboard got new fuel line and bulb were installed. Filter on water extractor was replaced.
When it's finished I will fish in it or if I see I can't, I will be selling it. Getting in and out of the boat will be my biggest problem due to the high sides. Been told there is currently a great demand for this model Lund, due to a low supply from the manufacture due to COVID 19. .

Mac that is exactly the same boat I wanted 1) couldn't find hardly any 2) the ones I did find were way out of my price range. The boat I bought has never been fished out of before this past Saturday when I did. So I'm turning a ski boat into a fishing boat you have the perfect fishing boat already.
Mac, supply?? I bet that's right I'm running into that on lots of stuff??
So what's with all the help wanted signs?? Don't nobody wanna go to werk???
Might frost, pulled the pepper plants.
I escalated the complaint at pay pal last night. Said I should get a reply in 10 to 30 days.
MS governor tater cake removed the public mask mandate yesterday. Students still have to wear them. Local governments and businesses can set what rules they wish. You'll still see me wearing one.
We've had a few gatherings in the past at the lake where that gator was caught. At the last one we saw 8 swimming about the water.

The number here in KY is going up. We are near to several university that has a lot of students that contribute to that number... sigh... I am glad I am still able to go out fishing and be relatively safe by social distancing. Staying at home all day is horrible lol. It is getting colder here so I imagine there will be less people at the lake.
There are some steps for getting on and off semi trailers I have seen. The better ones have rails to hang onto also. The upper part will attach to side rails and weigh less then 15 lbs. There so many online that you would have to decide yourself. They also easy to mount or stow away. Portable.
The one Keith just posted might help also.
For our popup welded a square tube underneath. Welded a handel together to slip into the tube. Helps to keep balence on steps in and outa popup.
Did see a trucker a couple times that had a unique system on his cabover. He could set in chair and get in and out. Electric. He was a war vet.
Would like it if some folks out there could go with you also.

What Bill said!!!
Keith,
That gator brought back memories from my childhood growing up in the New Orleans suburbs. The U.S. made gators an endangered species. If you had a backyard swimming pool, (we did not), you had to keep the chlorine level at eye burning level or it was guaranteed one would move in. After Hurricane Betsy flooded the east half of the city, the boys on my street had a blast finding the confused critters and harrassing them as they plodded down the street looking for a home. Every fishing hole I knew had at least one curious gator living there that had to come check out my bobber.
When I first moved here 38 years ago my late first wife made some half-joking comments about me stocking our pond with an alligator to clear out the bullheads. It actually became a thing with youngsters reporting seeing the beast.:smile1:
Mac, I'm trying to visualize your setup. Do you have to step up from the dock into the boat or vice versa? That step looks sturdy but a rail would really be helpful.:smile1:
The top of the outside gunwale is almost level with the dock, the inside of the gunwale is about thirty inches or so below the top of the gunwale to the boat deck.
A pontoon boat has handrails all around it, a gate that opens so no climbing is involved, flat wide deck, and is usually close to the same height as the dock.
Roof.
Quite easy/safe to pee and actually hit the water (downwind of course and requires "equip" longer than the handrail is wide)
Mac sorry to hear tremors returned. Hopefully it is short lived and you won't see them again.
