How do you find somewhere to buy old, molded, wasted cheese from? The same for hog brains?

An idea to get some cheese for free is to check the dumpster of your local grocery stores. I was looking for some old fruits/vegs to jump start my compost bin and decided to check the dumpster of our local grocery store. To my surprise I found a trove of half pound wedges of Brie cheese, Feta and Gouda they had discarded. The expiration date was past, so it was my lucky day. In addition, I scored enough old fruits and vegetables to jump start both my worm and compost bins with a couple five gallon buckets of extra. I noticed pizzas, subs, full jugs of milk, all kinds of food laying about, much of it was still cool to the touch. What a total waste IMO.....

The cheese is stacked up in my fridge, although the date says expired, it actually smells and tastes normal. I made two tubs of bait so far. It was definitely worth the stop and effort, the price tag on one wedge of Brie was 7.69, I probably got around a dozen wedges, several pounds of Gouda and 4-5 half pound tubs of Feta.
