Finally getting my new SeaArk RiverCat fishable. I fished Lake Tillery Tuesday night. Caught a few shad and had some frozen misc. left from a while back. The wst was low 50s and very muddy. I anchor fish and it took several spots to finally find them. They were in the shallow flats in back of creek fed coves. I only caught 4 from 27 to 10 pounds; so no big ones, but it felt good to finally get back on the water. Unfortunately, the weather is getting warm and I repair swimming pools so I won't be able to do much fishing for a while. Good luck guys!

That is about the only ramp open, Lilly's bridge further down is closed for repairs so don't go there like I did. Last Saturday, we drove to Blewett, ramps closed for updates, drive another 45 to Lilly's bridge, closed as well, for updates. So it was quite the haul to get somewhere that normally takes an hour and 10 minutes to get to.

Idk what's up with Tillery but a good day used to be 20 fish or so. The past year I can only get 5 or 6 fish per trip. I've tried it all, it has not been near as good this last year. At least to me it has not been. Glad you found some fish Ted. We caught 6 last Sunday with one 20 lber but then got skunked at the NCcAtts tournament this past Saturday. Wind blew in all directions with some 30 mph gust.

I put in on Blewett Falls at the grassy island ramp last week. Like you I drove to one that was closed before finding the other one. Didn't find any fish though.
We thought about putting in at Grassy Island, but I was in my CC jon boat, didn't know if I could fit under the bridge or not. I know they have redone it, but I'm not sure of the clearance. My 14ft tiller would go under it, but I was pulling the CC.
