I will buy an old boat and rig exactly the way I want it but just when I get done I will sell it and start on another one. My favorite thing is to rig a boat to fit myself and my fishing style. Right now I am almost done on a pontoon, but just bought a stripped out 20 ft Ranger. If can I will post pictures. The red seat is wide and flat enough to make a very good bed.
I switched boats after that was taken, from the deck down, same size but a better one. Trying a kitchen vynil floor covering. Really like it so far. Cost less than $200. Looks like I don't have these picture insertions figured out yet.
Quite comfortable fishing platform it appears. I think my biggest issue with a boat that comfortable would be finding bite alarms loud enough to wake me, I have gotten hard of hearing in my senior years. You have it looking good.
Good looking setup Joe. I had a 21 ft pontoon a couple of years ago and it sure was comfortable to fish from. The only things I did not care for was the gas it took to haul it long distances. Like holding a sheep of ply wood sideways and running into the wind. Then there was the wind pushing it so much on the Ohio. And it liked gas to run also. I was somewhat limited in where I could go because with a 40 hp merc, it took a good while to get any distance.
You might ask what did I like. The answer would be everything else. Plenty of room, very stable, and comfortable. I could eat, sleep and with a portable pot take care of every need.
But I sold it and got a 2070 Lowe, Tiller model. Put a new 60hp 4 stroke on it and have not regretted it at all. The wide open tiller model has almost as much room as the pontoon. It will run right at 30 mph which is like lightning for me compared to the pontoon. And it is quite with great fuel milage.
I'm wondering how long the sheet flooring will stand up to uv. We used aluminum paneling from old interstate signs on the last one we built. A little spendy, but solid and light.

The toon looks great! My only concern would be slippery when wet. I work summers and really only get to fish in the winter. I start out throwing a castnet to catch bait and would be afraid of the slung water freezing and icing on a slick surface. I know most people fish summers and it may not be an issue, but I'm just saying, so if someone else does fish freezing temps, they may want to think about what kind of traction they would get. I don't want to sound like a "Debbie Downer" and criticize someone's obvious hard work; just something to think about. Overall, the boat looks awesome and you should be proud of all you have done. The boat looks awesome.
I wouldn't have much problem with freezing water. It is kinda like lightning. I avoid it.
He who stays out of the freezing spray,,,, shall live to fish another day.
