Big NEWS out of the Queen City, the Panthers owner, 80 + years old, has been accused of sexual harassment. Most likely he will be selling the Panthers after the season is over. He and other acquired the franchise in the 90's for less than one hundred million dollars and the current market value of the franchise is close to several billions dollars.

Meanwhile, back on the dead end road along the shores of Lake Norman, we are in for a Fall like day >>> https://weather.com/weather/today/l/28037:4:US, and I will have to schedule my domestic duties around a lot of external factors. One major thing to do is to cash my IRA annual retirement check. Did y'all know dat if you don't withdraw a certain percentage every year after you reach the age of seventy, the Treasury Dept. will fine you 25% of the amount you were required to withdraw. So rather having a monthly draw, I take a lump sum at the end of the year. I keep this money out of the family money and use it for misc. stuff I need, like boat gas and gifts for special occasions.

Din din or supper supplies will be decided upon when I get to the grub store and see what's on sale, mostly stuff getting close to it's 'good by date'. While out I will stop by the public dump and see if I can conform to all the rules they have posted.

The last batch of Hybrids/Wipers have been processed and frozen. I'm beginning to like calling them racers Wipers, because they are developed from the agg of the White Bass and the sperm of the Striper, which 'down East' we call Rock fish.

The Squaw steamed the first batch of Broccoli Crowns this past evening and let me tell you, ain't no comparison between home grown and veggies from Florida and the Left Coast. Tender as all get out, like it wanted to melt in your mouth.

Later Gators

Thanks and Thanks

It's 46 and headed for 54. There's going to be a warm up this week in Central Texas, probably close to 80 on Wednesday and Thursday before Old Man Winter blows in some cold air. Friday through Wednesday the highs are supposed to be in the 50's, 40's, and 30's with lows in the 20's.

It's a good thing i'm going to be on vacation, until after the new year, starting Wednesday... May have to make a few extra trips to check on the cows.

Good morning from UP-YONDER where the deer and the Antelope (actually no Antelope around) play. Yesterday "She whom must be obeyed" wanted to see what was emptying the bird feeder.

It turned out to be one doe coming back for seconds, thirds, and a close-up .

No Antelopes were seen.

Life is good.

I quess I wasn't payin attention, didn't know about all the rules, I'm a rookie on this site ya know, couldn't make this work this am and now I know why!! Yes Nebraska and yes I was raised with a beer between my legs and that's just the way it is out there. Benton county is no joke according to the locals, I'm always pullin my boat so they leave me alone--tourist!! We are a long ways from veggies out of the gardens, lucky you Mr. Mac. Headed to New Orleans in the am, 5 days in the swamp, gonna look up Troy and the boys and get us some gators to go along with all the shrimp and oysters, later all, be careful and I'll fill you all in when we get back.

Good news, bad news, and no news. Good: traffic was a breeze down and back.
Bad: The $&_#@#$_&&---++(886&5&'$&+( at the hospital here didn't send the MRI disc down to Nashville.
No news: doc couldn't do diddly squat except give him a going over and order x-rays of his hips to rule them out.
Other good news: doc was awesome. Real nice guy.

Mr. Bo paid a visit to the hospital imaging department up here while I had my allergy appointment. Needless to say he left with the disc plus x-rays. They are probably still cleaning their drawers. Disc is now on it's way to Nashville.

I'm currently working on lasagna to soothe the Savage beast.

Deb I got a chuckle out Bo, so he's got a little sick um in him? Love it.

Gator? had that couple times, reminded me a them nasty Blue's!!! LOL

Sent in one seed order today. FU got them maters started yet?

When I was little helped a older guy set lines at very specific spots for very specific size blues, He wanted 4 to 6 pound blues his favorite. I ate crappie. LOL

Snap'n turtle not done right is a lot like gator, IMO.

Little early, ain’t it? I won’t start mine til mid Feb.

I may not start any this year, honestly. A) gonna be gone most of July/August, B) one spot shy of the rotation rule/cool off period for maters.

Considering A above, may not be much in the garden that isn’t done by the end of June or starting in mid to late August.
