Yeah, I've watched instructional video, had personal instruction, even went back for remedial training and while I can get it to look acceptable in the back yard after dozens of cast, the next day it's ugly all over again. Think I am too tall, or maybe too short, too fat or not quite fat enough, actually it is most likely that lack of coordination that has hindered me in sports, military drill and ceremony and a few other endeavors over the past 60 years.

I don't think there is actually a correct answer here but,,,,,,,,,,,, I wondered the same thing about three years ago. I went with a 7 footer (radius). So, with that experience, I would say I wished I had started with a 6 foot (radius) net. I think for an adult, it is the best size to learn with.

Next recommendation for when you get what ever net you decide to go with. Start watching youtube for which methods (and there are many) you think might work the best for you. Then take it out in the yard and throw it. Over and Over until it both works for you and is well imprinted on the brain.

I only say that last part because I threw mine a couple of time and then, went to the lake. When I got to the lake and brought the net out I couldn't remember what my middle name was let alone how to throw the darn net. Now this same thing happened several times so I wanted to save you that humiliation.
