It's time to get ready for Winter and wash those long-handles to remove anything the splatter shields may have missed. Thanks for the last one Mac with a B. Let the Ramblings begin.
FishFeen - My daughter was receiving the Daisy Award. She works in the Critical Care Unit at our local hospital and was nominated by one of her patients.
Vortex - Thanks for the link. They look good and I will probably have one coming my way next week.
It was worth it for me. They do a good job, and it fits just right. You can read up on how they do it, but effectively they got a mold for every different dash.
You may have to lay it out as best you can, then let it sit in the sun a bit. I can't remember all the directions at the moment, but it was easy as pie.

It has been 35 years since the Squaw and myself visited this Historical site >> http://catawbahistory.org/murrays-mill, but we return today with our Yank friends, Art and his wife.
Glad y'all got a tad of enjoyment out of my Goatee, I try to please my Brothers and Sis, IJS.
Meanwhile, back on the dead end road along the shores of Lake Norman, things are developing out in the garden space. A nice 44 year old gal is thinking about early retirement and wanted to know if I will teach her some gardening techniques, told her I would be glad too. Most likely I will lead her in the direction of raised beds because they have too much shade for a garden spot. She and her husband are the one's that owned Goot and Oreo.
Decided to put the tomato vines in one of the compost bins because the vines break down rather rapidly. I will cover them with some leaves to hasten the process. By the way, dat long and high row of leaves that I stored is almost gone and Sir ~~~~~ said I would never use them all. I have yet to inform my neighbor's that I will no longer need their yard leaves.
Now it's time to rest until 5:30 AM by the way of a McNap.
Happy AM and/or BS
Take your pick, it's really up to you....
Cheap knows how hard it is to work for a micro manager.
But there is an underlying condition that drives it.
Did eye mention OCD....LOL
I been pondering ifin CH ain't got a TAD himself....LOL
Bet he couldn't live to close to a neighbor....LMAO
Now I need to research ifin a steam regulator can be cleaned up ifin it's has some blockage, ie: rust and debris.
Looks like I will be storing provisions for 12 Beers today. Found a fresh killed possum coming home last night. Brother has a fridge that I could borrow. I have one in my garage. Will 2 fridges be enough cold storage? One for food and one for beer.
2bit, you might want a cold storage locker. That girl loves to eat and likes her beer cold enough to bust out teeth. Last I heard Bullwinkle said she still had 3 or 4 left. If you have any questions about her care and feeding he's the man to ask. She cried when she left his place.
Good morning, me loonies. Got a lot of cleaning to do this morning. The floors need a scrubbing as does da loo. Mr. Bo had to go in to work for the morning. That means the Grandma trip has been postponed until tomorrow. Then next weekend we plan to yank the other two rooms of carpet.
Supper tonight will be leftover venison roast and veggies.
Time to move along. By the way, thanks and thanks.
If y'all will recall, my storage leaf pile was four feet high in the center, ten to fifteen feet wide, bout eighty feet long and cover with number four poly ground cover. The Sun's UV rays took care of the poly in about seven months.
Here is what the leaf pile looked liked before I harvested some for the compost bins and winter cover for the Garlic.
Me and the pitchfork are not currently real close friends !
Have any of you ever done any serious "magnet fishing" IE a strong rare earth magnet tied on the end of a rope and throw it in the water (Carrothead you hold the other end of the rope)(otherwise it only werks once).
I've done it for several years now and have never found anything except a jillion nails, nuts, pieces of barbed wire, one bell that clips on the end of your pole, and a few ruined old rusty hooks. (and lots of magnetic gravel). Our money is non-magnetic so unlike the foreigners - no coins.
Tried a few old wells and nothing but junk.
Just wondering - so far it has been "catch and release" into the trash.
the smoked meat got done at 3 a.m. sketty is on the
menu here in a bit...got 10-tickets for 80M$ for tonight's powerball drawing...SCATS...
saturday for all...mike and tonya are headed to warrensburg for dinner from one of her aunts...
The outing to Old Mill and the festivities was hot and the topo was rolling, neither of which my Vertigo liked at tall. But I did mange to get some still shots and two short videos.
The above tractor was ordered from Sears Roebucks and the engine was optional. It did not come assembled.
This machine took the hulls off of field peas and the next photo is of the stream engine that ran it.
