That moment when you haven't driven your car in a week (because wife is out of commission with a knee injury) and you realize there is a God awful smell coming from the back.
You then realize upon further examination that one of your bait bluegills from last week had secretly done a suicide leap from your covered bait bucket while you were adding ice to keep the water temp down.
Oh boy that can be bad. Only thing that can override a dead fish smell is a skunk smell. If you decide to, put him in carefully and then make scary faces at him through the windows. :: LOL.
Get some Scent Killer deer hunters use it. Just go and spray back of the car and it should take care of it. After frying a bunch of fish it will that out of the house too. Also works with cats and dogs too.
I always use chicken liver and it looks green and really smells too! I have an Explorer so the bait rides inside and a few sprays it is like it was never in there. I sold a car to a guy and put a tube under the spare tire. It was mid summer took 3 week for him to find it. Just because I was going fishing Saturday and he was going to pick up the car Monday. He turned into a real dick and want to take it right then. So I gave it to him right then with a little gift under the spare. It took months to get the smell out widows down in the garage and he scrub the trunk carpet too.
I once took a can of chicken livers fishing that had been in the fridge too long. They were green and the smell made me gag. I can't imagine having that stuff in a hot car for long period of time. Yikes.
