It's time to get ready for Winter and wash those long-handles to remove anything the splatter shields may have missed. Thanks for the last one Mac with a B. Let the Ramblings begin.

Do y'all know why fishermen live longer than most folks, well, it is rumored that the Man Upstairs does not count the time you fish when working up your longevity, so I was told by an old fisherman.

They called earlier this morning and wanted to change her appointment to this Wed. as they didn't have the results back yet from the three and a half liters of fluid that they drained out of her stomach This last Friday. But Cathy still wanted to keep todays appointment so wee will be traveling across the bridge to Nebraska to the University to see the Oncologist. Wish us luck,As for myself I'm Concerned

Dang it, I keep aging out on health stuff !!! I had my fourth and final lung Cat San screening today because I'm not allowed in the program after my eighth birthday. First it was no annual blood work and finger wave on my Prostate for Prostate cancer after my seventy fifth birthday. But thank JC, I will not age out on eye treatment, heart stuff, colon cancer (but I'm sure thar is a cutoff date), other petty stuff I'm good to go. Sometimes you just outlive your body, ISYN
It would be nice if North Carolina would approve Mary J fer the elderly, not that I'm thar just yet :rolleyes1:, then I could just lay back and tell folks how good a trip it was.

Evening to my peeps that loves to fish. Thought I would take a minute to check in on y'all whilst I sip some hot tea. About to get started on a rosary.
JD, kneemails for y'all. Give Miss Catherine my best. She's a sweet lady.
I never smoked the pakalolo, but this oil that Mr. Mac was talking about has some interesting uses. Can't wait to hear his results.
Tomorrow is payday - thus it is also bill payment day and shopping day. Mr. Bo has an appointment tomorrow just up the road from Waldo Mart, so I bribed him into doing that part. I'll be hitting up Hills, then the post office, and finally Aldi for a semiannual stock up on the basics. Time to pull out my secret weapon banana boxes. BWAH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAH!!
Part of my post office trip includes some bendable Batman action figures... and for the life of me I think of Cheap for some reason every time I see them. Tomorrow they begin the trip to Pennsylvania.
Bend but don't break.
I've used dis n dat over the years, I take Aleve now n again, does it eliminate the pain, well no, but there is only ONE thang I know will eliminate the pain. I'd better stop there. LOL
Time fer me to make the meat smokers cringe. Yesterday I purchased a rack of pork ribs, hit them with a tad of Sea Salt and Seasoning Pepper and cut them up in section of two ribs per, put them in the slow cooker for two hours on high and then took the ribs out of the slow cooker and remove the grease and liquid. Then I put some BBQ sauce on them and cooked them on low heat for two hours or so. When I served it, the meat would fall off the bone. Sides were a mixture of sliced sweet taters, slices apples, half a stick of butter, brown sugar, raisins and cooked this mixture on low for a spell (covered), plus some left over slaw from the previous evening.
Normally the Widow Lady would eat a minimum of four ribs (just two weeks ago) , plus double on the veggies, but this time she only ate one rib, a little slaw and a tad of the sweet veggies and a glass of water.
Late yesterday, the Preacher Man postponed his fishing trip this morning to a later date because of this forecast https://weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/l/28037:4:US . I am going to run the same route/pattern dat I was going to do for him and see how it turns out.
Cheap, ifin I had some good stuff, I wouldn't be sending it to Yonder for you to test. As you know, I've tested fishing equipment and baits for clients, and I know how to measure/grade things based on this past experience. Now I would be glad to pick out some seeds fer you to plant close to the river/creek bottom, OK.
Only if he turns it on ( not like that), goes to the top of the hill, makes a blood sacrifice, and turns counter clockwise three times, then clockwise once while singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". I need more coffee....
Mac you may find this non believable , but they changed our forecast again!!
While we are into forniacasting , the hole in the ozone is the smallest since 1988, and shrank another 1.3 mil. sq. miles last year. Some may remember when we were all gona die cause of the hole in the ozone? Be a shame if we was ta die for no reason at all.
If Cheap had something good to smoke he wouldn't care. LOL
Good morning, me loonies. Rain, fog, and 53*. It was 56*when the alarm went off at 5:15.
Supper tonight might be lasagna. Or it might not. Nope, not going to make homemade. Might let Aldi do it for me.
Trying to figure out if allergies or a cold have got me sneezing and snotting with a sore throat. Either way it's one of those times that the lack of tonsils is really appreciated.
Gotta get some work done before the shopping begins. Y'all have a goodun.
70 here... Says it's going to be 84 in the afternoon. I don't think it will make that temp as the cool front is working its way south sooner than they thought. We've got a temperature range from 31 to 81 from Dumas to Corpus.
Prayers to all.
