It's time to get ready for Winter and wash those long-handles to remove anything the splatter shields may have missed. Thanks for the last one Mac with a B. Let the Ramblings begin.
Keith the brown turd is safe at home. Muzzle loader season is open and I am trying to let the air out of a deer.
I have seen several, but they look so small. Just let a fork horn walk. Body too little. Today is the last day though so he might not walk later.
Seen a big barren doe, she has been too far away. Maybe in a while.
Interesting morning warmed up during the night. Dew everywhere, fog swirling, and now sun is up. We're forecasting mid 80s, now high this morning and cold nw wind this afternoon.

Keith do you save seeds from your "Delicious" (variety) of Tomatoes? I didn't save any seeds this year because of the drought. I have 6 or 8 seeds from 2015 I am hoping half will sprout. I also ran across 6 of Mrs Maxwell's Big Italian from the same year. They reach about 2 Lbs in size. She was from Rush Hill, MO and her and her husband were good friends with my dad.
Tom no I didn't but you can get both those seeds lots of places.
Cheap are you still down yonder? Get any weather down yonder?
For those into canning , rutgers use to be the number one canning tomato.
Then as many saved the seed low over these many years it was not the same, so rutgers went back an redid it an now it's called rutgers 250, if you care? Now it's the same as in 1934.
Yep, and yep. Haven't seen the sun since thursday. yesterday's temp (which is in the same category as time - numbers are not important) was tee shirt weather with mild sweating. Then it got dark and rain came again. This morning a light wrap would be required if I was outside - which I'm not.
