It's time to get ready for Winter and wash those long-handles to remove anything the splatter shields may have missed. Thanks for the last one Mac with a B. Let the Ramblings begin.

Monocrystalline will still generate power on a cloudy day much better than the other two.
Agreed. One panel I have (that I use on my sub-irrigated pots) shuts off at the hint of a cloud. The other 2 I have (diff manufacturer) will run off darn near ambient light.

I dang near scatted in my jeans, but only farted.
You trusted a fart? o_O

Drum roll please https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...1E781AD67CE7A56555081E781AD67CE7A56&FORM=VIRE . As y'all might recall, over a month ago I cut a bunch of Fig shoots and small limbs for the purpose of propagating them in my raised beds. I had some where between 60 and 70 such cuttings. I cut them into 8 to 10 inch length, put a dab of hormone powder on them and stuck them in the soil mixture in the raised bed along with my Fall/Winter veggies. Curiosity got the best of me just now and I went out to the raised beds and with my garden trowel I raised some of um up and lo and behold they had little white roots and two had some roots around an inch and a half ! I dang near scatted in my jeans, but only farted. I din nothing special to them, except water them when I watered the veggies. I will tell you this for a fact, they never saw sight of yellow water :rolleyes1:

So I can get the mono crystalline for less than $13.00 then I'd need a 100 degree element then, now I've checked some a those lectric socks, but the reviews run from ok to don't heat at all, then I'd need rechargeable batteries and a charger, so a bucket of hot water was probably the cheapest? I have to do the K I S S way or forget it. LOL

She took 3 bags of candy bars and was looking for liquor. Walked out the door muttering she was going "Trick or Drinking". She left a "Treat" on the front porch.

Electric socks, never tried them, but in the Winter time when it's nippy I wear wool socks with my sandals, IJS. :biggrin1:

The Widow Lady ended up in the ER and they wanted her to stay overnight for observation, but she refused and ended up spending the night with us.

Most likely I will head out on the waters of Norman, when it warms up a tad and catch some bait to go along with my CBMIGP. I have two trips coming up, one this Friday for a fellow from PA and Tuesday with a preacher man from SC who is holding revivals in a town close by. I put new string on four reels yesterday and new terminal tackle.

Good morning, peeps. It's 45*, raining, and pitch black out here. The heater in the Dodge sure does work good. Wouldn't be a bit surprised if Mr. Bo gets sent back home today.

Haven't decided about supper. Kinda thinking smoked sausage with taters and onions sounds good. Or chili.

No trick or treaters last night. Kinda sad really. I used to love Halloween when I was a kid. The candy "hangover" the next morning, swapping candy with friends. Those were some good times. Used to use a pillow case as a bag. Bub and I were talking yesterday morning about one of his costumes. He was about four and went as a mummy. I dressed him in a pair of white long johns and wrapped him in gauze, gave him a white complexion (he's kinda olive colored), and dark circles around the eyes.

Time to get. Prayers for the widow lady, JD and Miss Catherine, and whoever else needs them.

Keef, a while back, the TV series ER, had a female patient to OD on Licorice, ISYN. They couldn't figure out what was wrong with her, blood test showed nothing, until they looked at her tongue.

Each time an elderly person (those over eighty) has a setback of almost anything, it takes it toll on their life expectance, so I've been told.

We have a tad of FOG this AM, will be gone as soon as the sun git over the pines.

First time in a decade, but this past evening we had seven or eight little girls to call on us for treats.

Yesterday afternoon the road grader wiped out one of the phone pedestales down yonder. So for the last 24 hours or so I have been isolated from the outside world. Kinda liked it.

For about the 10,000th time I asked myself - why did the phone company (AT&T) take down the overhead lines and put them underground on the entire northern river road (my road) which is a flood plain for it's total length. When the lines were overhead we had absolutely no problems. Since the great underground movement everytime the river gets out - we all lose the phone, the pedestals get shot up, they get hit by the grader, hit by drunks, and it amounts to a phone service factor of about 85%.

But life is still good:coffee:

Change in the weather coming, so they say >>> https://weather.com/forecast/nation...-change-sierra-snow-california-rain-east-warm

The Widow Lady wasn't quite ready to go back to her house, so she spent the night in the guest bedroom. Her color isn't real good right now !

SCATS, din din this past evening was BBQ chicken wings and oven baked sweet potatoes fries. Desert was freshly baked Toll House cookies.

Just recently, an LEO fired nine shots at a person and only one out of the nine hit the assailants body. Evidently, he wasn't a Morine, IJS.

Mac maybe she should have stayed in the hospital ??? IJS
Keef, it doesn't really matter where she stays, let me list all her health problems. Some type of blood cancer, failing heart, age, thinning of the bone, no zerk on the knees and on and on. Frankie thinks she has finally decided her time on this planet is number. She spent this past evening telling Frankie what she wants done with a bunch of her stuff, art, gun safe her husband had and so forth. It appears that she is more or less broke, living off SS and a small retirement fund, just enough to carry her from month to month.

It's a known fact, sick people die quicker in hospitals and nursing homes than at home, IJS.
