Well, here we are in a new place. I don't know it it is Tanks and thanks or Thanks and tanks. But, What goes around comes around.

Fu, yes us yanks eat elephant ears. At least the poor ones do. The ones that can't afford hogs A$$ and homey grits. Makes a great sandwich with a little tomato and mayo. Don't forget the salt. Just a smidge.

Tad on the chilly side this morning with a NE wind which is ringing my chimes. A wet front from the NE is trying to break loose and come my way and later, another wet front will try to get across the mtn. ridge and come to us from the NW. Harvey is still doing his thing

I slow fried some slices of pork lion this past evening and then put some marinara sauce on top of it and covered it and slow cooked dat fer a spell, then that was placed on a fine grain something and the meat and sauce was placed on it. This being OKRA season, we had some baked in the oven and the Squaw made another Fig Galette so the Widow Lady could sample it. Poor soul was on the puny side, which is rare and only had one helping of the food. Sis in law will be fixing din din tonight.

The Cajun Navy is helping out with the rescue efforts in the Houston and surrounding areas, bless their hearts.

Later Gators
