      hey jamie, you can catch all the shad you want there and mullet and maybe a few eels up by the spillway, but for the gills theres a little creek on blewetts falls rd about halfway down it ya can catch em there, but if i were you id catch sum b4 i went, thats what i do, you know how it is it can be a bitch catching the bait(gills) sometimes. good luck and i might call ya later on in the week. later bud

      hey jamie, the ole pee dee is a very shallow river, hwy 74 landing has some deep water there, but if ya go down river about a 1/4 of a mile you start seeing rocks (if water is down) thats bout as far as ya can go that way, good fishing down that way thou in tyhe deep holes, but if ya can navigate up to the covergence zone where the water from the powerplant converges with the water from the spillway its a awsome spot, you will see the point of land that seperates it, but again its very shallow, but if ya go man just poke along and be on the lookout for rocks, fish the current for big blues and eddys and slack water for flatheads, live bream and fresh cut gill heads are the ticket for me right now. (bream the other white meat) lol, but the water rise and fall is really not predictible, but when they start to rise it look out, it turns em on, but anyway i hope this helps ya some and good luck. holla back
