Muskingum River 10/9/07

I met up with Phil tuesday night to fish above Zanesville. Started fishing at 8 O'clock. Live gills,bass,and warmouth, and fresh cut shad. We caught four small fish. 3 flats and one channel, all under 3lbs. We were still fishing summer spots cause the water temp was still 72 degrees that night. But the big fish were not around those areas. I'm assuming they have started moving to their wintering holes, not on water temp but because the daylight is much shorter now. One other thing all were caught on cut shad, the live baits never got touched.

Had fun with Skip as always. That was the first flathead I caught on cut shad. If I figure out where my boat is leaking I'll be out a few more times this year.
