Here are a few pics of my first Flathead caught at Patagonia Lake. About 15 minutes after sundown it slammed my bluegill on my Berkley Glowstick which by the way is my lightest set-up that I have. Really glad it did not snap in half, lol. Not the biggest flat that I have caught but it was the hardest fighting cat and took the longest to get in. I should have at least landed a couple more flats but you know I had issues. :smile2:

Went to Patagonia on Sunday. we shore fished from 2 locations and couldn't even get a gill. So i was thinking "I bet I can get some channels on Hog Wild". Sure enough. 2 minutes later I had a little eater. Then My brother caught 2 more within the hour. Go figure. It was the middle of the day though.

Actually Both the San Carlos trip was planned before that 74 pounder, we went there the week before it was caught, Jason hooked into something huge that broke his line, so we planned the next trip. I can see myself going to patagonia, we will see............third is a charm:) LOL

New honey hole? I have told myself to do pati for a whole season and have not done it yet, maybe do that next year. Somehow Bartlett and Talkalai get in the way of that. Love both those lakes!!!!!!!!

Hey Chad,
That is the darkest Flathead I ever seen by far. Pati is a small lake 250 acres, and way too many people there for it's size. Will remember to go during the week there.

Oh heck yeah for sure, I would of never changed how it went other then catch some big fish!!! We all had a kick butt time meeting new people and bull crapping, if it ment to catch a 20lber to not meet all those guys i wouldnt do it i had more fun talking and hanging out with the guys then catching a fish but it would have been awesome to hook up big and have good company. We just caould have done the same at the local spot... just not with boats.

It's cool to meet new people at the lake but my choice would be catching a 20lber not just Bull Sh%tting all night. LoL :smile2:
