That is the ticket if you enter good luck on that. A buddy went there and got 20-30 pound channels with ease. Beautiful channels at that. Suppose to be one of the best places around for husky channels.

Looks like the Monday the 24th-30th:wink: They said it may open up early like the 17th, but are not certain about that:confused2: So it looks like I will head out there early Friday morning on the 28th to fish the otherside of the slough.

That is a normal thing. Should be some decent fishing in the canals back there. There are a few way in the back that I don't think you can get to by boat. We caught a few cats back there, but there seemed to be a ton of "baitfish" back there.:wink: It'd be cool to find a couple schools of either crappie or bluegill back there and really get on em. Maybe we can find some more spots in Jaime's truck. I could only get so far in the car last year, but there was still a lot of area to be explored. Would like to get more familiar with the place too.

Sonny's comes in a clear jar. I have tried bowkers. Had some luck with it as well:wink:
