I have never used bullheads specifically to fish for channels. I have caught bullheads out of the St. Mary's and taken them to the Altamaha to fish for flatheads though. Usually when I fish the St. Mary's for channels, I use worms and cut bait (bream). Are you fishing rod/reel or going to set lines to try for channels?
