Default need some help w/ a lowrance 480

all of a sudden the gps side of the wiring keeps blowing fuses. didnt change anything, just went to go fishing and didnt have gps. checked the fuse and it was blowed. put a new fuse in and blew it immediately. i checked all the wiring and nothing appears to be shorting out. just wondering if anybody has had this same problem. the unit is only 10 months old, and it worked fine until it started blowing fuses?

any suggestions would be helpful!!!

I would call Lowrance. If the wiring is ok (double check the wiring) the problem will be internal and have to be repaired by Lowrance. You will only have to pay shipping for it should still be in warranty.

Lowrance helped me when I first had a problem with my LMS480. But their help was temporary for couple months later it had another problem. I had purchased it from Cabela's, after calling them they said return it to them and they would send me a new one.

Good luck!
