Default Comparing Depth Finders

I'm looking to spend between 600$ and 900$ any suggestions, also this is my first post thanks guys.

Can't tell ya anything about depth finders at that range but welcome to the BOC. this is a great place.

If I had that much money to spend, I would go with a colored Lowarance or eagle with gps. My 2cents. If you have time, go to cabelas or bass pro and talk to someone and play with the displays.

I just mounted a Humminbird 987c Si its a little more but without the GPS iits not a lot more. Here is a picture of the bottom of the Tn River tody.
