Humminbird 797C2 Si Software Update

Hey, if any of you guys have a Humminbird, the software updates are sweeeeeeet. I bought the unit in the title back in January and I love it, but it tends to lose the bottom at high speed. Registered it at the Humminbird website, downloaded the latest software and downloaded it to the unit. It was pretty painless and the update has improved the performance considerably.

one question: do you need to buy a cable to up load to the unit from your computer.. i may look into the that Humminbird 797c2 and i think it comes with the Navionics bundle. you like it? is IT clear IN MEARKEY water?

I load my updates to the SD card. Then stick it in the top slot of my unit. And then turn it on. It will load the update its self.
Easy and pain free.
