i have installed a lowrance LMS330c model depth finder on my boat. sometimes after anchoring to fish when i restart the motor the unit will shut off. i usually shut it off when anchored down to fish, but sometimes i will leave it on.

also is there a way when the unit first starts up to have to go to the sonar page, it starts in the on the map page.

The voltage is dropping too low when you're cranking the motor. Solution? I'm not sure, probably need a new and/or bigger starting battery.
