Navionics HotMaps information computer
I checked with Navionics on the ability to take their Hotmaps chip and review it on my computer prior to fishing. They sell a software program and chip reader for $129.00 that allows you to review lake information. The price is a little high but it would give you a good planning tool prior to going fishing on a new lake or reviewing some areas that you already fish.
